Hey SHM Beauties,
Thank you for choosing us as your trusted quality hair supplier!
We are here to give  you the most  beautiful, flexible, stunning and exquisite selection of 100% Remy and Virgin Human hair so be assured you are purchasing the finest , exclusive and trusted quality while shopping with us.
While minimal shedding is normal, there are steps you can take, to ensure the longevity if your investment. If you cut the weft then it must be sealed by sewing the weft close after it has been cut to prevent shedding and tangling. Never sew through the top of the weft, it is recommended that you sew around the weft and onto the braided track.
Putting a needle through the weft will damage the wefts and cause shedding. (let your Stylist know as well)
Hair can be easily ruined if not cared for properly.

Hair Maintenance
  • Brush or comb through the hair daily with anti static brush or comb
  • Comb hair gently to avoid root tension
  • Finger comb deep wavy or curly hair
  • For deepwavy or curly hair, wet the hair every morning with water and leave-in detangling conditioner. Do not attempt to achieve curls using alcohol-based products
  • Use styling aids in moderation. Use alcohol free products
  • Avoid blowing hair dry – excessive heat is damaging to hair extensions
  • To prevent dryness, apply oil twice weekly prior to shampooing. Oils left on the hair overnight only are very effective. Remember, hair extensions do not have the benefit of your own natural scalp oils, so adding natural oils into your hair care regimen will help to replace those necessary oils. We @ Sheirlyaz Beautimattaz recommends using Livon Hair serum, matrix biolage, and Coconut oil essence
  • Be sure to comb the hair each day and after each wash. When detangling the hair, start from the tips and work up little by little to the roots. Hold the base with the other hand to keep it from shedding or causing root tension. Always comb with a wide tooth / Antistatic comb or paddle brush.
  • Heat is your hair extensions' biggest enemy. The more you use, the shorter the lifespan of your hair. We cannot guarantee that the hair will remain silky if you blow dry, flat iron, or curl excessively
  • That a Hair is 100% virgin human hair, does not mean it’ll  receives nutrients from the scalp like your own hair so take good care of it so it’ll last for you.
  • If you have bonded extensions, avoid applying heat to the bonded areas
  • “keep in mind that a big cause of shedding is due to cutting the weft. ... Using the wrong maintenance products on your hair extensions will dry, dull, tangle the hair, ... Brush or comb gently and avoid any excess tension”
  • Brush! Make sure you do not let your wefts tangle or matt, always brush your extensions. Keep one hand on the seam of the weft and brush with the other, this way you will avoid any unnecessary shedding of the weft.

While Sleeping
  • NEVER SLEEP ON WET HAIR
  • Prior to sleep wrap hair or braid hair into one loose braid
  • We recommend sleeping on satin pillows or with a satin cap to avoid friction while sleeping
  • When sleeping, we highly recommend that you braid or wrap your hair to prevent tangling
Shampooing/Conditioning
  • Comb through hair prior to washing to remove any tangles
  • Use a sulfate-free moisturizing conditioner so that your hair extensions don’t become dry and brittle
  • Do not rub or massage the hair when washing; this can cause tangling
  • Always condition after washing
  • When applying conditioner, comb hair, starting with the ends, and work your way up to the scalp being sure to avoid root/weft tension
  • After washing and conditioning, apply a good leave-in conditioner
  • Let hair air dry
  • Every Three - five weeks(depending on usage) the hair should be deep conditioned by a professional during re-attachment services
  • Wash your Sheirlyaz Natural Hair with a high quality conditioner instead of shampoo. This is particularly effective for curly hair.
  • When washing extensions, always wash them in a downward motion. Use your fingers in a horizontal motion between wefts to cleanse your scalp. When rinsing, do the same to be sure that all of shampoo and conditioner residues are removed
  • If you perm, tint, bleach or cellophane the hair, you do so at your own risk. We cannot guarantee any hair that has been chemically altered. If you must chemically alter it, then be sure to do a test strand first. This will allow you to test how the hair will hold up to any chemicals you plan to use
  • Never use a deep cleaning shampoo on extensions as they can dry and damage the hair’s cuticle. It is important to use a shampoo that will replace any lost natural oils and add moisture to the hair
  • Scrunch hair gently to reform curl (deepwavy or curly hair)
  • Remember - always air-dry

While Swimming
It is not recommended that you swim with extensions; chlorine and salt water can be damaging. However if you do, the following precautions are recommended:
  • Never wear a swimming cap or anything that covers your hair, the friction may cause matting
  • Before swimming comb out tangles
  • Braid hair into one braid at back of neck
  • Try to keep head above water; do not swim under water, no diving
  • After swimming keep head out of shower
  • Immediately after showering undo braid, comb hair and let air-dry
  • Follow with shampooing and conditioning

Perfecting your Sexy Smokey Eye Looks

  •  If you’re trying to create a really sultry smokey eye, be bold with eyeliner and apply it symmetrically. What that means is that eyeliner should be on the top and bottom of your eyes, as well as the inner and outer lash lines. Don’t be afraid to smudge or get messy, that’s what a sexy smokey eye is!
  • Getting all the dark shades in the right place is important, but there’s a trick to blending them all together: using a bit of brown shadow. When all the eyeshadow has been applied to your lid, use a crease brush or fluffy brush and blend a light brown color over the outside corners of your eyes and above your crease. This will create a more natural-looking transition from the dark shadows to your paler skin.
  • For the ultimate cherry-on-top moment, add some false lashes to your look and make sure the band fits the length of your lid.

Girls, glam up your eyes and go celebrate!
It’s all about making a statement this season. Bold,
graphic eyes are all the rage. If subtle is more
your scene, sexy eyes are always chic.
Intense
To create a dramatic, smoky eye, use a velvety, matte black eyeshadow. To begin, apply it to the upper lash line and work
it up into the crease, repeatedly patting on more product. Patting on the shadow, as opposed to blending, is necessary to
slowly build up the required intensity and depth of color. Follow the natural shape of the eye and work right along the socket
line from the outer edge inwards. Decide whether you want the shape more rounded or square at the outer corner and adjust
the edges accordingly. Blend the shadow along the lower lash line to the inner corner of the eye, and add a black kohl pencil
or matte black shadow to the inner rim if you wish. Further personalize your look by adding black glitter, or a highlight shadow
in dark metallic gray, to the center of the upper lid and/or inner corner of the eye. Finish with a lick of black mascara, top and
bottom, to open up the eyes, and complete the look with a nude lip and barely-there cheek.
Seductive
For a sultry eye, smear a cream-textured shadow over the upper eyelid and blend it back and forth with your fingertip.
The color should be more intense toward the outer edge of the socket and slightly winged. To create a sexy smolder
underneath the eye, use your fingertip to brush the product across your lower lashes. Then, apply a soft, waxy pencil to the
top and bottom lash lines to give definition, and blend. Curl your upper lashes and load them with mascara, paying particular
attention to the outer corners of the eye. For a distinctively sexy look, be slapdash and add a few individual falsies just for fun.
Defined
Eyeliner is center stage in this look, so it is all about precision. Cast aside your waxy, smudgy pencils, and bring out a liquid
eyeliner with a fine, inbuilt brush or tip, and/or a matte black shadow and an angled eyeliner brush. Mastering the application
of eyeliner requires a steady hand and plenty of practice, so have the makeup remover and a Q-tip (cotton bud) ready. If you
want to use both products, stipple the powder on first using the angled brush, and pat it along the top lash line ensuring
good penetration into the roots of the lashes. For extra definition and staying power, go over the powder line with liquid liner.
To create a feline effect, apply matte shadow, in pale yellow, beige or white, to the bottom inner cor ner of the eye. Then,
using a liquid liner or powder eyeshadow and brush, draw along the lower lash line, from the outer cor ner of the eye inward.
Just prior to reaching the inner corner, drop the line below the lashes and extend a fine, pointed wing beyond the innermost
corner of the eye, which fades into nothing.
Team heavily lined eyes with bold lips to create a sense of balance. Dark eyeliner is imperative for those with bulging eyelids,
as the depth of the color makes them appear less protruding. It also works well on almond-shaped eyes.

HAIR AND MAKEUP TIPS PART V
1. Get Clean Skin Quick
To sop up oil and refresh makeup, lightly mist your face with toner, then pat with a tissue, says Eva Scrivo, makeup artist and owner of the eponymous New York City salon. Finish with a dusting of loose powder.
2. Lighten Locks Instantly
If scalp grease (or too many products) have left your light hair looking like dirty dishwater, sprinkle translucent powder over your roots, then brush through, says makeup artist Morgen Schick.
3. Hydrate Your Skin in Half the Time
Use conditioner to moisturize your hair -- and body, says Schick. Just massage it in neck-to-toe in the shower, rinse and dry off. The conditioner will hydrate nearly as well as body lotion -- without the time suck of waiting for it to sink in.
4. Get Gorgeous Nails -- Now
Schick's 60-second strategy: Remove all polish, clean under your nails (with lemon juice, if you have it) and massage the thickest lotion you can find (lip balm will suffice in a pinch) into your cuticles.
5. Use Pink to Fake Perfect Skin
Surprise! Concealer is only half the battle when it comes to fixing flaws. To really perfect your complexion (no matter what your skin tone), try wearing lipstick in a warm pink. "It distracts people's eyes from blemishes and other imperfections," says Schick.
6. Score Evening Eyes in Just One Step
Eyeliner is the fastest way to look sexy, says Delux Beauty creator Jillian Dempsey. To do: Trace your top lash lines to just past the outer corners of your eyes.
7. Revive Your Face Rapidly
To look alive after a long night, pat concealer onto the inner corners of your eyes, under your lower lashes and next to your nose, says Scrivo. Finish by swirling bronzer over your cheeks.
11. On days when you want to skip lipstick, protect your lips with an SPF 30 (or higher) lip balm. Balms that contain glycerin are especially moisturizing, and tinted versions offer a hint of color. If your lips are chapped, seal in sun protection and speed healing by applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly on top of the balm.

12. Lighter makeup won't slide off your face like heavy foundation in hot weather. Try a tinted moisturizer or lightweight cream-to-powder formula. Trade your lipstick for a tinted lip balm. Switch to waterproof mascara, water-resistant cream eye shadow, and gel eyeliner. Shiny at midday? Pressed powder will turn cakey and streaky on your face. Instead, roll a blotting sheet over your skin.

Enhance Your Eyes Through Exercise

Enhance Your Eyes Through Exercise
Besides the eye make-up and the beauty sleep, you can do this simple exercise everyday to keep your eyes bright, healthy and glowing.

The method
While lying down or in a sitting posture, place your middle fingers between the brows, above the bridge of the nose. Place your index fingers at the corners of your outer eye.
Squint the lower eyelid upwards and feel that eye muscle pulse. Squint and release ten times, focusing on the pulsing each time you squint.
Now hold the squint and squeeze your eyes tightly shut while counting up to

40. Focus your mind on the outer eye muscle pulsing. Be sure to keep eyes squeezed shut very tight as you count.
Don’t forget to open your eyes after counting!

The result

# The muscle surrounding the eyes, which are responsible for opening and closing, get thoroughly exercised.

# Blood circulation in the eye area is enabled and this facilitates the strengthening of the upper and lower eyelids.

# Under-eye puffiness is reduced.

# Under-eye hollows are uplifted.

# You’ll look wide-eyed and your eyes will sparkle!

The frequency
# For best results do it twice in a day.
# To rectify deep hollows or severe under-eye puffiness, under-eye droop or to enlarge the eye socket, do the exercise thrice in a day.

Note
Puffy eyes in the morning? Just do your exercise twice and then apply your makeup. This will brighten your eyes instantly and banish the look of fatigue.
